The data processing rack for the x1000 is located remotely from the
scanning tool allowing for more efficient space management and better
protection and security for the processing tower. An array of high
performance upgradeable processors provides rapid image reconstruction
and threat analysis. Processors are connected to the main scanning box via a high speed fiber optic link. This provides not only exceptional speed, but it also reduces the risk of electromagnetic interference slowing communications.
